Job Description
We are looking for a university student majoring in engineering with some experience in web development, Linux and Git. Someone eager to learn with soft skills such as adaptability and flexibility. Our start-up is multicultural so our ideal candidate would be someone who dreams of creating cutting-edge solutions with an international team. The main language within the team is English, but any level of proficiency in Japanese would be a plus.
Support development, modification and implementation of front-end and back-end new features.
Conduct software release testing and debugging to identify and try to resolve any issues.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed and implemented functions, adhering to industry best practices for code documentation and version control.

Minimum Qualifications
Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL.
Familiarity with Git and Linux development, with experience using Terminal and Command Line interfaces.
Knowledge in full stack web development including familiarity REST API, app architecture conception (microservices, monolithic,..) and OOP.
Full proficiency in English.
Strong interest in the Internet of Things (IoT).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills.
Experience with any of the following languages, frameworks, or technologies:
Vue, React, jQuery, Node.js, Flask
AWS (Amazon Web Services), Google Firebase
Virtualization softwares like Docker, VirtualBox, …
Android or iOS app development (React Native, SwiftUI)
ROS (Robotic Operating System)
Any level of proficiency in Japanese.
Be currently a university / graduate student, or being able to work in Japan.
Be able to work for 6 months or more.
Ability to commute to our office located in Osaka, Japan. (We offer support with VISA applications and apartment hunting.)
